Terms & Licensing

All Lunalace products — VTuber rigs, art, web templates, freebies — are digital licenses, not transfers of ownership. Lunalace Studio retains full copyright over every asset, including source files, rigging, layered artwork, and design systems.

You're buying the right to use the work, within the limits described below.

• Use the asset for your own personal or commercial streaming, content creation, and social media.
• Use it across all your platforms (Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) under your own brand.
• Display Lunalace as the original artist/rigger when asked — credit is appreciated, never required.
• Make minor personal tweaks (colour grading, your own overlays) for your own use.

• No resale or redistribution of the asset, in whole or in part, free or paid.
• No sharing source files (.cmo3, .psd, layered art, .model3.json, template source code) with anyone outside your immediate team.
• No using a Lunalace asset as a base to create a new product, rig, template, or NFT.
• No training AI/ML models on Lunalace assets.
• No use in content that's hateful, illegal, or otherwise harmful.
• No claiming you created the underlying art or rig.

Violations terminate your license immediately and may result in DMCA takedowns and legal action.

By default, deliveries include only the runtime files needed to use the asset (e.g. .moc3 + .model3.json for rigs, exported PNGs for art, built site files for templates).

Editable source files (.cmo3, layered .psd, project source) are not included unless you've purchased a Source Files add-on. Even then, the no-resale and no-redistribution rules still apply.

Because every order is a digital download or custom commission, we don't issue refunds once work has begun or files have been delivered. Please ask any questions before purchasing — we're happy to clarify scope.

Custom rigs and bespoke builds follow a milestone process: deposit, WIP approvals, final delivery. Cancellations after work has started forfeit the deposit and any milestone payments already made.

Lunalace may showcase commissioned work in our portfolio and on social media unless you've requested NDA terms in writing before the project begins.

Every Lunalace deliverable is dated, archived, and may include embedded metadata identifying it as our work. If you encounter someone reselling or redistributing a Lunalace asset, please report it to us — we pursue DMCA takedowns and account suspensions on every platform we can reach.

We may update these terms as the studio evolves. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs your license. Material changes will be noted on this page.
